Mr. Whitten has been in public education for 10 years. He holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education, a clear Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential, and has TESOL certification. Mr. Whitten began his Career in special education with JCS in 2013. He has served students with disabilities, their teachers and families in a variety of roles including special education teacher, lead case manager and administrator. In his current role as Associate Director of Special Education, Mr. Whitten seeks to empower JCS staff to lead the way towards a bright future for ALL of our students and their families.
